Workplace flexibility has become a major discussion point in the world of post-covid work. Employees want to be able to work from anywhere in the world, at any time that they choose. One recent study found that flexible remote workplace policies were the number one factor in improving company culture over the past two years. In this post, we cover how Sharethrough employees are using our Work From Anywhere program to revitalize and refresh.

What is the Work From Anywhere Program?

For Sharethrough employees, remote workplace flexibility is widely available, thanks to our Work from Anywhere program. With our Work From Anywhere program, Sharethrough employees can now choose whether they want to work from their house, one of our offices or co-working spaces, the cottage, a coffee shop or even abroad! Of course, working from all over the world requires some level of organization and flexibility. For example, as much as possible, employees are asked to work in the same time zone as their colleagues and clients.

Sharethrough's Work From Anywhere Program enables employees to work from numerous destinations around the world.

How Are Employees Using the Work From Anywhere Program?

It is now possible for all employees to travel and work from wherever they choose! Here is what Juan Martinez, Product Manager, has to say about the joys of the Work From Anywhere program:

“While I love going to our office in Montreal, I have to admit: working remotely has been a game-changer for me. I could travel to Miami for a couple of days and be with my cousin and her kids, and then come to my hometown in Colombia to be with my parents for a couple of weeks. While I’m working on weekdays with Sharethrough, I’m making the most of weekends by visiting nearby small-towns like Zapatoca, where I recently went spelunking with my brother. A significant boost to my overall happiness.”

The world is a BIG place and is FULL of places to work. For some of us in the Northern Hemisphere, the lack of sun and the cold (read: sometimes brutal) Canadian winters makes us have major wanderlust… Now, Sharethroughers can choose to Work from Anywhere in the world for up to 60 days per year

Here is what Megha Wadhwani, Senior Legal Counsel, Privacy & Compliance, has to say:

“In October 2022, I had the opportunity to spend two months working from India. This was the longest I had spent in the country since I was eight years old. The trip was incredible! Being able to reconnect with my family, roots, culture, and experience all the diversity India has to offer – from the mouth-watering food to the incredible landscapes – it was one of my most memorable life experiences. The trip also allowed me to stop over in Istanbul and Lisbon which were travel bucket list destinations for me. Overall, I had the most revitalizing and transformative 2-3 months away. The flexibility that Sharethrough offers to work from anywhere is one of the reasons I love working here.”

Eve Deschamps, Senior Business Partner at Sharethrough, also takes full advantage of the Work From Anywhere program:

‘’Last year, I traveled to Costa Rica, Nicaragua and the USA. This year, I traveled to Mexico and Guadeloupe. I’m what people call ‘’a snowbird’’ and I try to get away from Winter as much as I can, both for my mental and physical health. It’s a true blessing to be part of a company who trusts you to do your best work, from wherever you are.’’

Additional Benefits to Help Employees Work From Anywhere

In addition to this workplace freedom, we provide passes to any WeWork location of their choice! As part of the global network, WeWork locations are often equipped with hot desks, lounge areas, phone booths and give members the opportunity to book by the day or by the hour.

Working Around the Globe

We have one life to live, and traveling around the world is a great way to live it. Perhaps 2023 is the year where we move beyond the black or white debate of home vs office. Where will you be working from next?

For myself, I will be up north in the Laurentians enjoying the warmth of the fireplace while I work and do winter sports on the weekends!
